The first Round Table in the framework of the BioTourS Project - Biodiversity and Tourism Strategy to protect cetaceans, took place on the 9th of June.
Almost 30 stakeholders participated in this Round Table, which is the first one of 4 planned (one for every project partner) and it is a rare opportunity to share experiences of growth models fostering cross-border collaborations to drive future innovation and to argue on citizens role in the promotion of environmentally friendly behavior. The meeting is held online to prevent the spreading of Covid-19.
BioTourS project aims to introduce best practices for sustainable cross-border tourism, for the safeguard of natural Adriatic Area and for dolphin conservation.
Partners of the BioTourS project are Jonian Dolphin Conservation (Taranto, Italy), Agjencia Kombëtare e Turizmit (Albania), Comune di Termoli (Termoli, Italy), and Innovation and Entrepreneurship center Tehnopolis (Montenegro).
BioTourS project is funded by European Union through Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro.
